Ladbrokes Sponsor National Personal Safety Awards

By Jo Walker In Suzy Lamplugh Trust News

Suzy Lamplugh Trust is excited to announce that Ladbrokes have agreed to sponsor three of its National Personal Safety Awards in 2012.

The National Personal Safety Awards celebrate the work being done across the UK to help keep people safe from the risk of violence and aggression. They also provide an opportunity  for Suzy Lamplugh Trust to recognise best practice in the field of personal safety.

The awards that Ladbrokes are sponsoring are:

The National Personal Safety Day Award 2011 – to be awarded to the organisation who the judges believe did the most to promote personal safety within their own organization and/or local community on and around last year’s NPSD.

The Safer Community Award 2012 – to be awarded to the local group, individual or local authority who the judges believe has done the most to spread awareness of personal safety within their local area in 2012.

The Inspiring Individual Award 2012 – to be awarded to the individual who the judges believe has done the most to promote personal safety in his/her organisation, school or community in 2012.

Amy Hannagan from the Trust says:

“We’re thrilled that Ladbrokes are once again supporting the Awards and are very grateful for their ongoing support.”

Nominations  are now open for all five of our annual awards. For more information http://www.suzylamplugh.org/personal-safety/national-personal-safety-awards-2012/ .
