New video reminds young people about the importance of drinking safely

In a new video produced by TheSite.org, Suzy Lamplugh Trust has reminded young people about the importance of drinking safely in pubs and nightclubs.

NPSD Competition – 1st Prize – Durham High School for Girls

Suzy Lamplugh Trust are delighted to announce that Durham High School for Girls are the winners of the National Personal Safety Day 2008 Safe & Sound competition for Schools and Colleges.

The Safe & Sound competition aimed to raise awareness of the Personal Safety issues surrounding the use of mobile phones and music players whilst out and about.

Entrants to the competition were asked to produce a podcast or video which highlighted the risks associated with not being able to hear danger approaching. As the winner, Durham High School for Girls received a cheque for £1,000, which was sponsored by Reliance Security.
