Volunteer – National Stalking Helpline
Our partner organisation National Stalking Helpline is looking for a volunteer, please see below for more details:
Stalking and harassment affects approximately two million people in the UK every year. The National Stalking Helpline works to provide advice and information about the law and support services to victims who may not know where else to turn.
We are a new organisation that has already seen a high demand for our services and we are looking for two dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to work on the helpline and respond to e-mails providing advice and information. Personal experience with stalking issues is not essential as full training will be given. The volunteer will be fully supported by experienced staff and attend regular debrief sessions with a supervisor.
Volunteering with the National Stalking Helpline will help volunteers to develop important and desirable workplace skills whilst providing valuable advice and assistance to people who often feel vulnerable and unsupported.
