Why we need your support
Suzy Lamplugh Trust is proactive and practical in our approach. We believe that life is for living to the full and that by helping people to feel more confident and better equipped to keep themselves safe, more people will feel able to get out there and enjoy life.
We deal with a huge range of diverse issues including fear of crime, stalking, children using the internet, safety on our streets, illegal minicabs, young people travelling overseas, and lone workers visiting people in their own homes.
We receive very little Government funding and earn a large percentage of our income from providing services to the public sector. However, this income is not sufficient to enable us to meet all the requests we have to work with groups in society who most need personal safety guidance but are often unable to pay for it, such as school children, the elderly and community groups. We really need your support in order to provide more help to these vulnerable groups.
