Train the Trainer Course

Suzy Lamplugh Trust is pleased to introduce a new and improved 3 day Train the Trainer course!

Course description

The course is an efficient and cost effective way of delivering Personal Safety training throughout an organisation and provides you with the skills and knowledge to do so. This course can also can be used as part of your IOSH CPD development.

From January 2010, our new 3 day Train the Trainer course will replace the 3 day training + 1 day practical assessment Tutor Training course. You will no longer be expected to attend an extra practical assessment or submit written training plans before being able to deliver Personal Safety training within your place of work, enabling you to deliver immediately after the course.

Who’s it for?

• Workplace trainers who have responsibility for enabling individuals and teams to manage their Personal Safety at work
• Managers or people who have experience and confidence in delivering training or presentations

If you are not currently delivering workplace training, the Train the Manager Course may be for you.

• A comprehensive training resource: a course manual, powerpoint slides, handouts and sample training plans on a USB memory stick
• 3 full days training with Personal Safety training experts on how to plan, deliver and evaluate Personal Safety training
• Workshops that give you the opportunity to plan and deliver the key Personal Safety messages to your target groups
• Helpful  feedback (verbal and written) to help you target the training directly to your staff

In-House Train the Trainer Course

For larger organisations, Suzy Lamplugh Trust can offer an in-house Train the Trainer course. This follows the same basic programme as the open access course, however with consultation this can be made more bespoke. It allows up to 12 members of your staff to provide the Personal Safety training your organisation needs.
