Training Consultants are required to prepare, deliver and contribute to the evaluation of training programmes;

Responsibilities:

  • (from the Trust or signed off for use by the Trust) facilitate personal safety training and consultancy to organisations from all sectors
  • Gather feedback from trainees on the training to check objectives have been met and ensure that this is shared with the Trust
  • Select appropriate Suzy Lamplugh Trust content based on learning outcomes from the training needs analysis; training methods that ensure sessions are interactive and learner-centred
  • Promote and present the Trust in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Operate consistently in accordance with and comply with the Training Consultant Agreement and Handbook
  • Contribute positively to the health, safety and wellbeing of delegates for the duration of the training
  • Where required, prepare learning and training resources as part of training delivery responsibilities

 

An Adult Teaching Qualification is required for the role, which can include:

  • Level 3 Award, Level 4 Certificate or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
  • Bachelor of Education (BEd)
  • Certificate in Education (Cert Ed)
  • Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS)
  • Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS)
  • Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS)
  • City & Guilds Further and Adult Education Teaching Certificate
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

 

This is a freelance role, Training Consultants are not employees of the Suzy Lamplugh Trust and an Independent Consultant/Client relationship exists between the two parties.
