Due to the lockdown and Covid-19, we are running virtual delivery of our Personal Safety and Lone Working training courses.

The primary objective of the personal safety course is to provide delegates with useful knowledge and tools to apply best practice for their own personal safety, by learning how to effectively assess, mitigate and manage risks they may encounter in the course of their work, as well as in general.

We are offering the training in bitesize sessions, to ensure and encourage delegate engagement, peer learning and longer-term retainment of knowledge. The content covered is the same as the face to face courses, it is only the delivery model that has been amended.

Virtual Personal Safety Delivery Model:

  • Awareness raising Talks: Usually between 1 to 2 hours, delivered to a maximum of 30 delegates
  • Half Day Personal Safety training: Delivered in two sessions in one day. This would be broken into 1.5 hours per slot, with a break of 30-60 minutes between the two.
  • Full Day Personal Safety training: Delivered as 3 x two-hour slots, spread over two or three days within a 5-day period. This also applies to our Open Access course.
  • Train-the-Trainer: Delivered as 4 x 2 hour slots, spread over two days.
