Suzy Lamplugh Trust is the UK’s personal safety charity. Our vision is a society in which people are safer – and feel safer – from violence and aggression; we want people to be able to live life to the full. We work towards this vision through:

  • Campaigning for issues around personal safety such as taxi and minicab safety
  • Education: Training on workplace safety
  • Support: We manage the National Stalking Helpline which supports thousands of victims of stalking each year

We are looking for a volunteer to assist our training department. This role will be varied and will give you the opportunity to gain experience through varied tasks across the department. The role will include:

  • Assisting with the data input into our new customer database – Salesforce training will be provided
  • Gathering information from customers ahead of planned training courses
  • Gathering feedback and testimonials from previous customers – opportunity to assist with reports and presentation of data to wider team
  • Opportunity to attend exhibitions with Suzy Lamplugh Trust to gain experience speaking to a range of potential customers
  • Various ad hoc tasks as required

Skills and experience needed for role:

  • Practical and pragmatic
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Positive and confident phone manner
