Our Personal Safety awareness raising talks are ideal for organisations wanting to provide staff with an awareness of personal safety issues for a number of reasons. This could be a way of reaching up to 50 staff at once to highlight personal safety; it could be part of a corporate event; or aimed at staff where the level of risk in their role does not require in depth training.

Suzy Lamplugh Trust talks are highly interactive, and are a good way of getting staff to start thinking about the importance of their own personal safety both in and outside of work. Our talks are tailored to the needs of your staff.

Topics talks cover include:

  • Lone working - the law and the responsibilities of the employer and staff
  • Risk assessment - identifying and mitigating risks related to all aspects of work
  • Home visits - best practice for staying safe while conducting a home visit
  • Travelling safely - tips while travelling for work
  • Using personal alarms - their purpose, how to use them and recommended alarms
  • Reporting incidents - procedures to be followed by staff and employers

Talks last between 90m - 2 hrs and are delivered in house. We deliver across the UK and Ireland for up to 50 people. We also deliver talks during evenings and weekends.
