Lone worker apps

Lone worker devices and apps can play a useful part of a person or organisation’s overall personal safety strategy. Suzy Lamplugh Trust does not endorse one device or app over another as the best app for one organisation may not be the right one for another.

Some of the products listed below are certified against British Standards (BS8484). For more information on British Standards or advice, please visit BS8484.com.

Please note: Inclusion in this list does not indicate any form of endorsement by Suzy Lamplugh Trust.  The Directory simply provides information regarding some of the safety devices that are available on the market, listed in alphabetical order. We do not endorse any of these devices, therefore we can’t and won’t accept any responsibility or legal liability for their reliability or effectiveness.

Please use our downloadable Lone Worker App form to assist in assessing which device may be best for your organisation.

If you would like us to review your personal safety product and/or services, please let us know as much information about your provision as you can, including how it works and and any unique selling points, as well as what you would like to achieve in working with the Trust. Please note this is not a free service and once we have all the information we need, we can provide you with a quote.

If you are looking for the Trust to endorse your product or service, please note we do not offer endorsements. This is because choosing personal safety products and services is a needs-based exercise, and any endorsement from the Trust may be misleading to buyers.

If you would like to list your product or services on our Lone-Worker Directory pages, please let us know and we can contact you with more information.

If you are contacting us because you are a self-defence specialist and want to talk to us about how we may be able to collaborate, please note we do not encourage self-defence and our approach is to empower people to effectively mitigate risk and confidently manage through de-escalation techniques.
