Carbon Reduction Plan Commitment to achieving Net Zero Suzy Lamplugh Trust is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. Baseline Emissions Footprint Baseline Year: 2025 Additional Details relating to the Baseline Emissions calculations: This is our first carbon reporting year, so this year will also act as our baseline. Our offices are based at The Foundry, a building with strong environmental credentials (BREEAM “Excellent”, EPC A rating), which provides a low-emissions foundation for our operations. Baseline year emissions: Direct emissions 0.00 Office 3.64 Business Travel & Commuting 6.98 Homeworking 3.28 Waste 0.20 Total Emissions 10.46 Current Emissions Reporting Reporting Year: 2025 Current year emissions: Direct emissions 0.00 Office 3.64 Business Travel & Commuting 6.98 Homeworking 3.28 Waste 0.20 Total Emissions 10.46 Emissions Reduction Targets In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets: When procuring services, we will ask suppliers and contractors to supply their own sustainable strategy policy or credentials We will review our banking provider to ensure minimal exposure to fossil fuel exposure Encourage staff to adopt our cycle to work scheme When travel is required for work purposes, wherever possible staff will take public transport / low emission options Build climate awareness across the Trust Continue to work with The Foundry to maintain and enhance our current credentials. We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 9.00 tCO2e by 2030. This is a reduction of 3% each year. Carbon Reduction Projects Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives: Deliberate choice of premises: The Foundry is ethical and environmentally aware. a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ building with an EPC Rating of A (Score: 24, dated 28/08/2014) Natural ventilation throughout the building, reducing the need for HVAC systems Use of reused materials in building infrastructure (e.g., old chimney ventilation system and recycled carpet tiles) North-south panel orientation to limit solar gain and reduce cooling load Use of exposed concrete soffits to improve thermal mass and reduce heating needs PVC double-glazed windows enhance thermal insulation These measures contribute to reduced reliance on artificial heating and cooling systems. Planned Future Initiatives: Transition to 100% renewable electricity supply Increased remote working to reduce travel emissions Adoption of digital-first policies to minimise paper use Engage in a green supplier policy for procurement Declaration and Sign-Off This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and the associated guidance and reporting standards.Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard, using the appropriate Government emission conversion factors.Scope 1 and 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements. Required Scope 3 emissions have been included following the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard. This plan has been reviewed and approved by senior leadership.Signed on behalf of the Suzy Lamplugh Trust Carbon Reduction Policy Manage Cookie Preferences
